Telu ScaleThe Telu scale is one of the main pentatonic scales of the Balinese gamelan, used in ceremonies, dances, and traditional works. Its name, which means “three” in Balinese, refers to the simplicity of its melodic structure, which, although pentatonic, conveys a sense of clarity and balance.Unlike other Balinese scales that are brighter or more tense, the Telu is characterized by its soft and serene sound, making it ideal for accompanying contemplative scenes or rituals that require introspection.
